Performance Brake Pads (Black)

Galfer's standard pads are hugely powerful, with as much stopping power as most riders will ever need. A good choice for general all round riding.

  • G1053 - Performance Compound.
  • MTB specific friction material compound.
  • Organic semi-metallic compound (no asbestos).
  • Noise free.
  • Consistent performance over the life of the pads.
  • Less disc wear than other brands.

Bedding In: To get the most out of your pads, take five minutes to bed them in properly! Run the brake pads correctly by braking sparingly and gently, allowing the brake system to cool, for about 2 minutes downhill or braking 20–25 times per wheel, until all the friction surface is well-marked on the disc.
